Our progress
We want you to see what we’re doing to achieve our vision for Nottinghamshire so we’ll share a delivery plan that will set out the actions we’ll take to meet our ambitions, with performance measures so that we can all track our success in each of our priorities.
One important measure of our success will be reducing the number of years that people spend in ill-health and reducing unfair variation in this. Achieving this will require action over the long-term and we will link with other strategies such as The Nottinghamshire Plan from Nottinghamshire County Council, the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System’s Health Inequalities Strategy and the Nottinghamshire Police and Crime Plan as well.
At the end of each year, we’ll publish an annual report that clearly shows our progress. We’ll share what we can throughout the year too on this website.
For now, you can view the executive summary [PDF] of our strategy which outlines the delivery and monitoring framework proposed for the next four years.
There is also a longer document [PDF] that provides all the evidence and analysis that has informed our plans for improving people’s health and wellbeing and reducing health inequalities in Nottinghamshire.
As we work on delivering the strategy we will continue our discussions with members of the public and organisations so we can be very specific about what improvements we can make. We will also be undertaking an assessment of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the health and wellbeing of the people of Nottinghamshire.
